About Me
My name is Carolyn Graham and I run The Mosaic Garden from my workshop in Norwich, Norfolk. There I create my my handpainted ceramic coasters, magnets, cards and accessories. I am mostly self-taught having only studied art at school, I then went on to study languages at university but my love for art and being creative took over and I have been painting and creating mosaics for the past 10 years gradually building up to working as a full-time artist. I am inspired by the nearby Norfolk and Suffolk coastline, by lighthouses, boats and beach huts and by the vibrancy and colours of the seaside. I also have strong connections with the North East, the Northumbrian coastline is a great source of inspiration and I love spending time collecting the sea-tumbled glass and pottery from the beaches there which I use in my mosaics.
